Back of Bulletin: Thrift Sale

Hello Church,

We have been so blessed by the annual CVBC Thrift Sale. Each year the funds from the sale go towards the youth group mission trips and we are so thankful for that. This summer, a group of 21 students and leaders are going to Sumpango, Guatemala to support Oscar and Karla Chiquitó in their ministry

Not only does the thrift sale support mission work, it also is a ministry to our community. I hear so many good comments from people that they look forward to coming back each year. Thank you for being the church, inside and outside of this building.

The Thrift Sale is May 3 and 4 (Friday and Saturday). We start prepping the sale on Sunday, April 28.

How can you help? I am so glad you asked. Here are 4 ways:

  1. Donate items. Look through your house and garage. We take just about anything.

  2. Come and help us. All week leading up to the sale we need help sorting, folding and organizing.

  3. Help at the sale. Can you sit at a table and take money? Can you be a cashier for the brat stand? Can you fold clothes and keep tables organized

  4. Would you be willing to bake some goodies for the sale? We love to have some sweets to offer at the food stand.

Thank you so much CVBC for supporting the youth ministry!
