The silence of God

Psalm 88

Main Point:  At times, you will feel like your life is full ______ and that you have nothing but _____ from God. Will you still turn to and hope in God?

Two Real Feelings

  1. Dark Sorrow under the _____ of God

  2. A Perceived _____ of God

Two Faithful Actions

  1. Persistently _____ to God

  2. Realistically _____ in God

Small Group Questions:

  1. What is something that stood out to you from the passage or sermon?

  2. Why is this passage in the Bible? How can a darker passage like this still sanctify us?

  3. If you are suffering, how could this passage minister to you? If you are not suffering, how does this passage help you minister to others?
