Each year, CVBC sponsors the Diner's Club. This is a social event, not a Bible study. We match up several families who get together once a month during February, March and April to share a meal and play games. Generally, it is a potluck-style dinner that is held at a different home each month. You get to know two other CVBC families in their homes and your own! This year, Glenn Woods (861-4155) is setting up the groups. All you need to do is register on the sign-up sheet in the vestibule before January 31st..then Glenn will match your family with two others and attach a letter designating how you run the Diners' Club. This is great fun! Please sign up today! ----------------------------------------------------------------- AWANA Leaders' Mtg.: Sunday, Jan. 22 after 2nd service. ----------------------------------------------------------------- A&B Praise and Update Report as of Jan. 13, 2006: Total raised to date $143,200 Expenses -$ 76,600 ------- Current Balance $ 66,600 The leadership of CVBC has set a goal to have $150,000 raised before breaking ground.
