CVBC is providing an opportunity for you to honor a loved one through the purchase of a memorial poinsettia plant. Order forms are available at the ministry table. The plants will be $8 ea. The names of those honored will be printed in upcoming bulletins. The deadline to order is Dec. 10th. The plants will be available to take home after Christmas. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Important information for Sunday School Children: * The 4-5 Year Old Class will have their own Christmas Program during the Sunday School hour, Sunday, December 17th, starting at 10:00 am. Parents, please plan to come early to pick up your children and don't forget your camera! * Kindergarten - 6th Grades: There is a practice for the Sunday School Program on Saturday, December 16th at 11:00 am. The program will be Sunday, December 17th at 6:00 pm. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Christmas Shoe Boxes Update: Praise God! We sent 128 gifts through the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child program -- please pray for the children who will receive them! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy holiday baking? Have extra cookies? Please bring some to share by December 17th. We'll be serving cookies after the Christmas Program that night and the rest will be divided up for the Ch. Co. inmates. We'll welcome as many dozen cookies as you can bring in! Your church family and the inmates really appreciate this treat. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Christmas Schedule: * Children's Program -- Dec. 17 at 6 pm. ("Bethlehem's Big Night") * NO Saturday Services -- 12/23 & 30, 1/6 * Christmas Eve -- Dec. 24 Same worship service at 10:30 am and 5 pm Children's Ministry Note: There will be no Sunday School, Children's Church or Junior Church the last two Sundays in December (12/23 & 12/31). This will allow staff an opportunity to worship with their families during the Christmas season.
