Women's Ministries at Chippewa Valley Bible Church

"...hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church. Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love." Ephesians 4: 15-16 (NLT)

Purpose

The purpose of the Chippewa Valley Bible Church Women's Ministry is to bring glory to God by providing opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationship with God, equip them to serve Him with their spiritual gifts and to encourage fellowship.

The Women's Ministry is designed to uniquely meet the needs of the women of the church and our community. By reaching our, sharing, caring, teaching and providing fellowship we have the opportunity to bring Christ's love to the heart of each woman.

The Women's Ministry also has the privilege to touch our entire church family through ministries that meet the needs of the congregation.

Education and Personal Growth

To know Him and make Him known. That is our desire. Through Bible studies, retreats, and one to one discipleship, we challenge and encourage one another to grow spiritually and in our knowledge of the Word of God.

Share and Care

"...so that by God's will I may come to you with joy and together with you be refreshed." - Romans 15:32
Paul knew how important it was to care for one another both in times of joy and sorrow. Share and care is a ministry designed to uplift and encourage women in the midst of all that life brings.

Outreach and Fellowship

Laughter, joy, shared moments, fellowship. These are the things that build relationships. This ministry brings women together to enjoy sharing a craft, a meal, a speaker or perhaps make a new friend.

Young Moms

This ministry will focus on moms with children from infant up to 6 years of age (kindergarten). The purpose is to provide love, encouragement and support for moms as well as age-appropriate, fun activities for their children.

Hospitality

"Practice hospitality." - Romans 12:13
Christian hospitality differs from social entertaining. Entertaining focuses on the host, Christian hospitality focuses on the guest. It is our desire that every person who enters the church will sense the love and grace of Jesus, that the atmosphere alone will minister to them. So many things make a difference. Fresh coffee, colorful bulletin boards, banners and a friendly "Hello."

Congregational Care

This is a ministry of compassion that provides care and services that are necessary to support and empower the function of the whole congregation. The baptism of a new believer, the birth of a child, the funeral of a loved one, the Lord's Supper, or a fun social event; this ministry touches others in those important moments of church life.
