The purpose of the CVBC Women’s Ministry is to bring glory to God by providing opportunities for women to grow in their personal relationship with God, equip them to serve Him with their spiritual gifts and to encourage fellowship.
The Women’s Ministry is designed to uniquely meet the needs of the women of the church and our community. We are focused on the areas of Biblical teaching, annual retreat, and fellowship events. Through these we have the opportunity to bring Christ’s love to the heart of each woman.
As the Lord provides mature leadership we hope to focus more on discipleship, mentoring, and prayer in the future.

Women’s Ministry Team serves the church through various ministries in the following areas:
Bible studies are a way to build relationships with other women while you are deepening your walk with the Lord. They are a great opportunity to share life experiences and personal understanding of Biblical truths.
We have a standing moms' group, Tuesday Morning Moms, that runs from September - May. We also offer a variety of elective Bible studies throughout the year. Watch your bulletin or call the church office for current studies.
The annual retreat is a two night retreat held in September. It is designed to be a getaway where women can slow down, enjoy time with other women, and with God. It includes worship, Bible study, prayer time, and free time to just relax and have fun.
Laughter, joy, and shared moments are things that build relationships. Relationships are where we are able to invest in each other’s lives. We desire to offer opportunities for relationships to begin and deepen. Among other get-togethers, we have a Spring Brunch and Christmas Tea each year.
