What’s Happening at CVBC

The Summer Book Club will meet today in the sanctuary at 11:00am for book #2: The Prodigal God by Tim Keller. Next up: Rediscover Church by Hansen & Leeman, Sept. 3.
Tonight is our prayer gathering at 6pm. All are welcome.
Men’s event — Brat Night— is TOMORROW, August 7 at 6pm.
Elders teaching on sexuality: For 3 consecutive Wednesdays in August, the elders will be teaching on the important and yet difficult topic of sexuality. We will be looking at what the Bible says about it and how we can wisely live in a world that is con-tinually twisting God’s design of sex, marriage, and gender. Plan to join us from 6:30-8:00 PM on August 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
Don’t miss our Annual Meeting Sunday, August 20, after the outdoor service and meal. This is a meeting where we celebrate the past year and anticipate what God will do this next year. This is more than a “boring budget meeting.” This is vital to our church’s unity. Please plan to join us!
