What’s Happening at CVBC

  • Ruby’s Pantry is this week: Tuesday, October 17, with food distribution from 2:30-5:30. Volunteers needed between noon and 6pm. First-time volunteers visit rubyspantry.org. Note: We could use more people to load food boxes into vehicles between 2:30 and 4:30pm. Thank you.

  • Attention Women who Sew! We are having a sewing event Saturday, November 4, from 9:30-11:30am to make Soup Bowl Cozies. Look for informational fliers and sign up sheet in the lobby.

  • Adult Sunday School class: The Healthy Church. Join us at 9am (Rm 50) for our series investigating the foundational attributes and practices that make up a healthy church. Next class (10.22): Discipline.

  • TRUNK or TREAT will be Saturday, October 28, from 2-4pm. We need volunteers to bring vehicles with decorated trunks and hand out candy (CVBC provides the candy!). We are also looking for help with various fun additions to this event, so check out the options on the sign up sheet in the lobby.  We are also taking candy donations -- you can drop candy off at church before Thursday, 10.26.

  • We have Large-Print Bibles & lyric sheets, and Hearing Assist devices available for anyone to use on Sunday mornings. Ask an usher!

  • Please check out cvbc.net to join email groups and for more information on upcoming church-wide events, ministry programs, Bible studies and more!
