Training plan for elder candidates:

CVBC elders undergo an 18-month candidate process before they become full members of the elder team. This gives the candidate(s) an opportunity to confirm their calling for the work, to learn and grow in the responsibilities of being an elder, and to give the congregation and the church elders an opportunity to assess their fit for the position. As part of this process, the elders have put together a training plan to help candidates grow in areas of doctrine and practical ministry. That plan, which is completed by the candidates with the mentoring of existing elders, is available here.
