  • All seniors 55+ are invited to our social event coming up Thursday, February 5, from 2:00-4:30pm. There will be games, singing, prizes, snacks, and fellowship! Sign up in the lobby at church or let us know by calling the office (715-723-2872).

  • CVBC is hosting a one-day marriage-focused event to encourage marriages within our church. This year the teaching will emphasize gospel communication. Every aspect of our marriages is impacted by how well we communicate. The more we learn to communicate, the healthier and stronger our marriages will be. I hope you can join us. Alan

News/Reminders January 7, 2026:

  • Our preaching this Sunday (January 11) will be from Matthew 4:1-11. Please read this passage ahead to prepare for the message.

  • We are having an informational family meeting to address a couple of things: our future building and the finances of the church! This Quarterly Family Meeting is on January 18. We'll enjoy a meal together. Everyone is invited! Sign up ASAP so we know how many people to expect. If you'd like to help out with the meal, by bringing a slow cooker full of soup or chili, you can check the box when you sign up.

  • Our new semester at TMM begins January 13. Register soon if you’re bringing children (includes a flat fee of $25 for childcare per family) and join us for a study in Hebrews. 9:30-11:00am.

  • Join us for week two of the adult Sunday School series on the creeds of the early church. In a time period when there were many ideas circulating about who Jesus was and what the church should be, the creeds were some of the formative documents that helped to unify the church around the core teachings of the Bible. 

    We are exploring the history and theology of the next of the three core creeds, and talking about how it is relevant to us today. Schedule:

    Jan 4 - The Apostles Creed 

    Jan 11 - The Nicene Creed
    Jan 18 - The Athanasian Creed
    Jan 25 - Wrap-up and Q&A
